IFP School in the Grand Prix de l'École Navale 2012

    May 21, 2012

IFP School participated in the Grand Prix de l'École Navale, Championnat de France de Monotypes Habitables, which took place the weekend of the Ascension from the 16th to the 20th of May 2012 in the Brest harbor.

For its first participation in this regatta, IFP School was represented by the yacht "Longtze Premier", a monotype of 6m50 long. His crew consisted of four students in the Énergie et Marchés program: Guillaume Barsagol, Samuel Fargeas, Penelope Roger and Jean-Baptiste Schoen.

Despite the difficult weather, these sailing enthusiasts were able to validate many rounds and managed to place 13th in the Championnat de France de Longtze.

"For a first experience we are satisfied. This monotype, renowned for its power, has proved difficult to tame but terribly exciting!" said skipper Jean-Baptiste Schoen.
