    Lectures by Professor Marcel Lacroix on energy

    Marcel Lacroix, Professor at the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, gave on April 23rd a lecture, entitled "Energy, health and wealth" at IFP School.

    Invited by Dr. Ouafae El Ganaoui-Mourlan of the Center of IC Engines and Hydrocarbon Utilizations, Professor Lacroix addressed the correlation between energy consumption and living standards. He shared a lot with students and teachers on the concept of energy efficiency.

    Taking advantage of his stay in Rueil-Malmaison, he gave a seminar at IFP Énergies nouvelles on April 24th on the theme of the transition to renewable energy.

    The seminar concluded with a lecture by Alexandre Rojey, moderator of the think tank IDées of the Tuck Foundation and professor at IFP School, about the energy transition.

    Marcel Lacroix is 55 years-old. He specializes in energy and thermal processes. Physicist with a PhD in nuclear engineering, he has over thirty years of experience in companies and universities in America and Europe. He is the author of "L'énergie au quotidien" (Éditions MultiMondes) and "Le nucléaire démystifié" (Editions Multi-Concept).
