    Volvo Powertrain visit

    February 28, 2012

Forty-one students of the Powertrain Engineering (PWT), Energy and powertrains (MOT) and Electrification of automotive propulsion (EPA) programs visited on February 8th Volvo Powertrain's site in Lyon.

The site is an assembly plant for 9 and 11 liters Volvo Powertrain engines (DXi9 and DXi11). IFP School students had the opportunity to participate in an engine workshop, supervised by Volvo Powertrain engineers, which consisted in dismounting and rebuilding an engine.
