    IFP School awarded a distinction at the Asian Control Conference 2013

    Prakash Dewangan, research professor at IFP School, Antonio Sciarretta, holder of the IFP School chair on Hybrid vehicles and Energy control and Chris Manzie, Associate professor of the University of Melbourne won the "Best Application Paper Award" at the Asian Control Conference (ASCC) 2013 for their scientific article, "State of Charge Management for Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicles with Uncertain Distance to Recharge".

    This article was co-authored with Gilles Corde, Head of the "Software and Services" program in IFP Energies nouvelles' Transport Business Unit and Olivier Grondin, form IFP Energies nouvelles' Technology, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics Division.

    The subject of this research is the optimal time for recharging the battery of a hybrid electric vehicle.
