Study trip in the UK for the DEG program

    July 1, 2013

A group of 16 students from the 2012-2013 Petroleum Engineering and Project Development program (DEG) went on a study trip in the United Kingdom in June.

During the trip, the students visited the Technip center in Aberdeen. The visit was the opportunity to discover numerous activities in the field of oil and gas production. One of the highlights was an interactive session on a high-tech simulator of the ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle), a remotely operated underwater robot.

Study trips are an integral part of IFP School’s industry-oriented training. Two other groups of DEG stuents went to Indonesia and Qatar to visit oil and gas facilities.
