    Energy Economics at IFP School: some news from the U.S. front

    On November 10th, 2016, Dr. Olivier Massol (IFP School – Center for Economics & Management) was in Washington DC (USA) where he chaired a session and gave a talk on the regulatory challenges observed in the natural gas pipeline industry during a workshop organized at the  Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

    On November 11th, Dr. Massol gave a seminar on "Cooperative Games in Energy" at the University of Maryland.

    He then attended the INFORMS meeting in Nashville (TN) where he presented his work on the market impacts of the integration of intermittent renewable energy sources on the behavior of power generators.

    These three events allowed him to present the excellence of the Energy & Markets program to a broad audience including academics, students, industry experts, policy makers, consultants, etc.
