    7th Graduation Ceremony

    July 1, 2016

The Graduation Ceremony for the IFP School Class of 2015 took place on Saturday 18th June 2016. The event was a great success with 180 students being awarded medals by Philippe Pinchon, Dean of IFP School,  symbolizing the end of their studies at the School.

The event gathered together nearly 500 people - graduates, their families and guests, industrial sponsors and staff of the School.

The Ceremony took place in the presence of Didier Houssin, CEO of IFP Energies nouvelles, Philippe Pinchon, Dean of IFP School and Jean Sentenac, President of the IFP School Alumni Association (AAID), all of whom made an opening speech.

This year, seven companies sponsored the event: Perenco, Total, Renault, Technip, Axens, Esso and IFP Training.

After the medal-giving ceremony and the traditional Class photos, participants were welcomed on board Le Paquebot for a cruise on the Seine which, fortunately, was not cancelled despite this year's recent floods along the river banks.

The evening included a concert given by talented students from this year's class and a Photo Shooting session in a studio on the lower deck of the boat.

The IFP School Alumni Association had prepared a stand on the boat where graduates were offered the opportunity to pay membership fees at a preferential rate and hence to become part of the Alumni community and the IFP School network.
