Two IFP School students are crowned winners of the Energia Challenge 2015

    July 8, 2015

On 6 July 2015, two IFP School students won (ex aequo) the Energia Challenge 2015 organized by the Amicale de l’Offshore Pétrolier and the GEP-AFTP.

The team, consisting of Adrien Gentil and Bastien Morbidelli of the program Energy and Markets (ENM) as well as Youssef Tlemcani (École Nationale d'Ingénieur de Metz), presented a project entitled “Geothermal Co-production: Untapped Potential”.

In this technological and economic study, the students evaluated the extent to which geothermal plants could satisfy the electricity demand of offshore platforms.

They will receive their award on 21 October 2015 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris during the Journées Annuelles des Hydrocarbures. Congratulations to them!
