An E-Learning Excellence Award for IFP School

    June 15, 2015

IFP School, the French graduate school specializing in the fields of energy and transport, won the E-Learning Excellence Award in the category “best training device for Education”, awarded by the Cegos group, in partnership with the AEF group, for its first MOOC on sustainable mobility.

The aim of the E-Learning Excellence Awards is to reward and promote the best e-learning and blended-learning training devices. The 5th Award Ceremony took place on 11 June in Paris, during the Talent & Development Congress.

Olivier Bernaert , Project Leader for the "Élan pédagogique" project and Lucie Dhorne, Information and Communication Technologies in education Officer at IFP School, were handed the award by Danielle Deruy, CEO of the AEF group.

IFP School has thus been rewarded for its innovative instructional approach. Its MOOC, entitled “Sustainable mobility: technical and environmental challenges for the automotive sector”, taught entirely in English over 4 weeks from 3 to 24 November 2014, stands out against traditional MOOCs through the integration of a serious game, a video game that allows students to develop and validate their skills through immersive, interactive fun activities.

“We are very proud of this recognition. It illustrates, once again, the excellence of our training and the importance of innovation in our teaching approach,” Philippe Pinchon, Dean of IFP School, was delighted to announce.
