The participants of the Executive Master of Management in Energy in Stavanger

    December 16, 2013

The 30 participants of the Executive Master of Management in Energy travelled to Stavanger (Norway) from December 2 to 6.

On this occasion, in addition to attending their courses in the local campus of the Norwegian Business School (BI), they visited the Norge Petroleum Directorate (NPD), a technical department of the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, responsible for regulating oil resources on the Norwegian continental plateau. The NPD introduced them to the overall procedures and regulations regarding licences to explore hydrocarbons in Norway.

In addition, a meeting with various representatives of Total Norge allowed them to discover the assets of the company and the technical challenges to be met.

Finally, the participants of this Executive Master visited a wind farm to become familiar with the various challenges and technical and economic aspects of wind energy.
