Integration trip in Germany for the Powertrain Engineering program

    September 19, 2013

At the beginning of each new academic year, IFP School organizes an integration study trip for students on the Powertrain Engineering (PWT) program.

This year, the students went to Germany from 8th to 13th September. They visited several companies in the automobile sector, including Daimler, Porsche, Mahle and Bosch. In parallel they followed an introductory course on Internal Combustion Engines at the FKFS Research Institute in Stuttgart University.

This trip was the opportunity for students to discover the automobile industry and also to get to know each other better. "This integration study trip, at the beginning of their studies in IFP School, makes a lasting impression on the students" said Ouafae El Ganaoui-Mourlan, Supervisor of the PWT program. "It is a constructive week. Our aim is to promote communication amongst the students and develop a class spirit whilst broadening their technical knowledge."
